After reading this guide you will be able to see what this pharmacy has dispensed and is still holding for
patients: everything awaiting collection, and separately the prescriptions that have been sitting
uncollected long enough to chase.
Who does this? The Uncollected list is for the Responsible Pharmacist, Dispensing Technician
and Business Manager. The Counter Assistant sees the same prescriptions on the Collection screen (E1),
but not the aged uncollected list — contact and follow-up work is not the counter's.
"What are we holding?" — the Collection screen's Awaiting collection list (E1): every dispensed or
endorsed prescription with no handover record yet, newest first, with whether the patient was notified.
"What has been sitting too long?" — the Uncollected list: the same prescriptions, but only those
dispensed at least seven days ago and still not collected, oldest first. Seven days is the pharmacy's
own threshold, and it is the same threshold the uncollected reminder uses (E3).
Both are reads. The app flags and reports uncollected prescriptions; it never adjusts stock, never
returns anything to the shelf and never cancels anything by itself. What to do about a prescription that
has sat too long is a decision for the pharmacist (D5.5).
From the Collection screen, press Uncollected list. (A prescription in the list can also be handed
over straight from it, which takes you to the same handover form as E1.)

The Uncollected list on the test pharmacy, 6 October 2026, as the pharmacist: prescriptions dispensed
between 5 and 19 September and still not collected, oldest first, each with the date it was dispensed and
Record handover — with the header stating the rule the list runs on: dispensed at least seven days ago,
stock flagged and reported, never adjusted automatically.
| On the screen | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Reference | The prescription's reference. |
| Patient | The name on the prescription — who to contact. |
| Dispensed | When the prescription was dispensed. This is the date the age is measured from. |
| Record handover | The same handover form as E1 — collected, or returned to the shelf. |
There is no "action" button on this screen, and that is deliberate: the decisions belong to the pharmacist.
In practice the list is worked like this:
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Nothing is overdue for collection. | Nothing has sat past the threshold. Check the Collection screen for what is awaiting collection today. |
| A prescription you expect is missing | It is either inside the seven days, or it already has a handover record — check Handover history (E1). |
| Everything is in the list and it is a lot | That is a real signal about workload or contact details, not a fault. Work it by the oldest first; the trail (E4) says whether the patient was ever told. |
| A colleague at the counter cannot see the list | The Uncollected list is for the pharmacist, technician and business manager; the counter's list is the Collection screen (E1). |
| The list still shows a prescription that has come back | It is the handover that clears it (E1), not the stock movement — record the handover. |
