The GP Notification Log tracks whether a patient's NHS GP practice was notified after a private consultation or prescription. This is essential for CQC Effective and Well-led domain compliance.
When patients receive private treatment, their NHS GP needs to know about it to maintain continuity of care. The CQC expects practices to:
